I have a 1997 mustang gt with the basic mach 460 sound system cassette player head unit car did not come. I have a book. When you make use of your finger or perhaps the actual circuit with your eyes it is easy to mistrace the circuit. Most of the wiring diagrams posted on this page are scans of original ford diagrams not aftermarket reproductions.
