Ok so heres where im stuck. Insert the key into the ignition dont turn it pull key out 3. I have a 04 corolla the central locking is not working i was wondering if i had an alarm and door motors fitted by an alarm installer would this work.
According to the lock wiring guide toyota uses negative pulses from the switch to the factory relays to lock and unlock the doors.
I know i have to not only connect the harness to somewhere. The remote still enablesdisables the immobiliser but the central locking is not working. It wouldnt be as simple as swapping systems over though as the early models used an integration relay for all the body electrics and the later ones a full body control module.
