Lock Up Converter Wiring Diagram 1986. Looking at a 1980 diagram there are 3 wires on a vacuum switch 2 lt green and 1 dk blue. Can i assume that with a relay my lock up will only engage when the toggle is i just cant find a diagram of the pins to find out if my wire harness is correct to.
Thanks that diagram makes a ton of sense. Ive already put in a new lockup selonoid. Thanks a bunch to michelle for letting me take over the basement all winter.

Vacuum drops if im reading your desription correctly i think you have it right. My 1986 chevy came with a 350 trans with a lock up torque converter the wires were removed by the previous owner i have installed a new trand with a new lock up torque converter i need to hook it back up for fuel mileage i want to put a toggle switch on the dash so i can engauge it when on the highway i have no idea where to start i do have the three wire plug. Jun 16 i run non lockup on my th cant comment on mileage since its always been like this but. Here was my first cut at a wiring diagram that should work similar to the tci kit plus this will have an indicator light and the ability to force the torque converter to lock up in any gear.
