The blue wire is for trailer brakesand the redorange wire is for 12 volt supply to your trailer it is for either charging you trailer battery running interior lamps or anything else you may need 12v constant voltage for. Most gm trucks use a pretty standard wire color for their tow packages but i always recommend testing for function and not just color. White pin to your ground.
