This was just a cheap and easy solution for those wanting to add the feature without spending a couple hundred on modules and a switch and then dealer fees to add the sales code.
Results of dodge ram door mirror left. The colors on the street scene mirror wiring is green brown yellow white and what i was going to do is solder a 99 connector plug into a 01 plug so its a good connection where i dont have to splice into it. Notice that the original mirror is a 3 wire setup left and top while the 98 up mirror is a 5 wire right and bottom see photo 9 and 10.
Im wanting to add a defrost grid to the back window on my canopy. Is it a dpdt switch. 2006 dodge ram power mirrors not working. The 2 extra wires black on the 98 01 model mirrors are for the defrosting option which will not be used and taped off to the mirror harness.
