In many insects particularly the larger hymenoptera the tracheae also link to a series of airsacs which can store air. Not to mention some bugs have prominent antennae pincers and appendages. Most insects can use their body muscles to squeeze their tracheae and airsacs thus forcing air out.

The first section of the alimentary canal is the foregut element 27 in numbered diagram or stomodaeum.

As you can see a typical beetle is made up much like any other insect comprising of three main parts. Like all insects this pseudo bug has three distinct body regions the head thorax and abdomen marked by the letters a b and c respectively. The scientific latin name of the order is coleoptera which translates to sheathed wings. See the diagram above.
